Ross Lovegrove is a prolific and successful British designer who studied design in Manchester and London. He derives most of the inspiration for his work from nature and organic forms.
He created designs for some of the world’s leading companies such as Sony, Apple, Peugeot, Kartell, Artemide and others.
Mr. Lovegrove has won numerous design awards and his creations are exhibited in design museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and London’s Design Museum.
In November 2005, Mr. Lovegrove was awarded the world technology award by Time Magazine and CNN and won the coveted Red Dot Design Award for the Mercury lamp he designed for the Artemide Company.
